Introduction
The Account Management page within Dealer Dashboard is where you can manage your staff’s access to the Dashboard, whether it be for a group or dealership.
You can add a user, edit an existing user, grant access to products by adding or removing permissions and have the ability to reset passwords.
View Users
When you first go into the Account Management page, the View Users page is the default that comes up where you can see all the Active User Accounts under the logged in client number.
In the grid you will see the Username, First and Last Name and when they were last logged into Dashboard. There are 2 button options that you can click on any user, the first being the Edit button that will take you to the Edit User page, and the second being the deactivate button that will move the user to Inactive status under the client number.
Edit User
By clicking the Edit button, you will come to the Edit User page. Here you can adjust the Account Status by clicking the toggle which will make the user Active or Inactive, as well as edit or update key details for the user as well. Anything that has a red star next to it is a required field that requires details to be entered.
If you click the Reset Password button, a selection box will appear where you can send an email to the user with their reset password).
Underneath the Password section, if you have access you will also see the ability to add or remove User Permissions, based on the products that you have with Cox Automotive Australia. Simply check the boxes for your Users access levels to these products.
Once the User update is finalised, click the Save Changes button in the bottom-right corner to save the changes.
