Introduction
To ensure dealers can update the status of multiple inventory items at once - rather than one at a time - we have introduced Bulk Update Management to SmartPublisher / Smart Publisher PRO on the View Inventory page of Dealer Dashboard.
This functionality can adjust multiple vehicle statuses to Sold, In Stock, Exclude from 3rd Party Advertising, Include in 3rd Party Advertising and Deleting inventory item/s.
‘Set as Sold’ Bulk Update
To select multiple stock items to change the status to Set as Sold, ensure that you are displaying a menu that has Active Inventory, then simply check the boxes on the left-hand side of the Inventory Grid for the vehicles that you wish to bulk select to be Set as sold.
At the bottom of the window you will see a taskbar populate once one or more vehicles are selected, and on that taskbar, there is a button ‘Set as Sold’.
When this button is clicked, the following confirmation screen will display:
When you press ‘Yes, Set as Sold’, the selected items will be moved to the Sold Inventory menu in Inventory Management, but more importantly the status of the vehicles will be changed to Sold.
‘Set as In Stock’ Bulk Update
If a Sold vehicle needs to come back into your inventory for whatever reason, to change the status back to In Stock, ensure that you have selected the Sold Inventory List, then simply check the boxes on the left-hand side of the Inventory Grid for the vehicles that you wish to bulk select to be Set as In Stock.
At the bottom of the window you will see the taskbar populate once 1 or more vehicles are selected, and on that taskbar, there is a button ‘Set as In Stock’.
When this button is clicked, the following confirmation screen will display:
When you press ‘Yes, Set as In Stock’, the selected items will be moved back into any of your Active Stock menus within Inventory Management, but more importantly the status of the vehicles will be changed to In Stock, so they are able to be advertised again.

If you need to exclude a vehicle from advertising on 3rd party sites for whatever reason, you can select any vehicle/s on any of the Active Stock Inventory Lists, then simply check the boxes on the left-hand side of the Inventory Grid for the vehicles that you wish to bulk select to be excluded.
At the bottom of the window the taskbar will populate once 1 or more vehicles are selected, and on that taskbar, there is a button ‘Exclude Items’.
When this button is clicked, the following confirmation screen will display:
When you press ‘Yes, Exclude Items’, the selected items will be moved into the Excluded Items menu within Inventory Management, but more importantly the status of the vehicles will be excluded from advertising on 3rd party websites.

At the bottom of the window the taskbar will populate again once 1 or more vehicles are selected, and on that taskbar, there is a button ‘Include Items’.
