Introduction

The Cox Automotive Website platform is built from using multiple different modules, and placing them within the page. Because the platform uses modules to build its pages, this means you can use any combination of modules and in any order, to create the page that best suits your purpose. The Modular platform gives you great flexibility in building your website.

Below, we have created a list of the currently available modules, so that you may review how they are used, and how they appear on an example website.

Module	Purpose
Affordability Calculator	The Affordability Calculator Module allows your customer to enter the amount per week they can afford to pay toward a loan, so that they may view vehicles within their price range.
Banner	Banners are larger images placed within the page. These images could be anything from a local offer, a new model, or anything in between.
Before After Slider	The Before After Slider allows you to use two images of a vehicle, to indicate a car before and after performing a certain service upon it, or just to show two images of a vehicle on a manual slider.
Content	The content module is used to store images or text on a website. This module is usually used on most pages on a website, for anything from a disclaimer to information on a new offer, or introduction to the business.
CTA (Call to Action)	Call to Actions are buttons that are implemented in a blade on your website, so that when you click on them, they will perform a certain function or open a particular page.
Countdown Clock	The Coundown Clock allows you to set a date and time countdown to appear on your site, should you wish to highlight an upcoming sale event, promotion etc.
Custom Code	Used to insert custom code or scripts to insert extra functionality into the page; such as live chat, a third party booking form, a review system etc. It can also be used to insert full page images into your website.
Enhanced Offer	An Enhanced Offer allows you to highlight particular Vehicles, Parts, Service or Finance specials that are localised to your dealership.
FAQ	The FAQ module allows you to compile a list of Frequently Asked Questions, to provide general information to your customers on certain topics.
Featured Inventory	Displays selected inventory on a slider on your website. You can choose which vehicles appear, how many vehicles to appear on the slider and how many cars to view at a time.
Finance Calculator	The Finance Calculator is used by customers to populate loan related information, to work out the cost per week over a certain loan period.
Form Builder	If you have created a custom form with the Form Builder, this module is used to include it on the page.
Form	The Form Module is used to capture lead and customer information for enquiries. Forms can be used for multiple purposes such as for service, parts, or career enquiries.
Gallery	Lets you display certain images from the content library or your media library in a nicely presented format, on a slider with thumb nail images.
Image	Image module allows you to upload an image of any size, which will then be scaled up or down to fit, depending on the device you are using.
Inventory	The Inventory module will display the stock that you have provided to Dealer Solutions for advertising. The Inventory Module can either display first as a list, or a search function. This module must be added to a page that is set for inventory. Click here for more information
Key Personnel	The Key Personnel module will populate staff that you have entered into the Key Personnel section of your modular website. If you would like to add or update the staff shown here, please click here.
Locations	Locations module allows you to insert links to individual dealerships within your dealership group, or departments within a singular dealership and their respective contact details. This is used if a dealership group has a main group website, and then individual dealerships within that group that have their own websites, or if you would like to display the various departments of your dealership separately.
Map	Allows you to place a map location to your dealership locations on the page. By default, it will display all locations, but you can override this with certain locations also.
Model Colour Picker	Allows the customer to see the colour variants available for a particular model of the car. If the colour is available for different models, these are displayed beneath the colour swatches. The settings within the module allow you to change the background behind the car to match the colour swatches when they are selected.
Model Range	The Model Range module allows you to group together cars of a particular model, for quick and easy viewing. Clicking on one of these models will then take you to an inventory page for stock of that model.
Model Variants	The Model Variants module allows you to display all of the variants available for a particular model or models. Customers can filter on whether they would like an auto or manual vehicle.
National Offers	The National Offers provided by the OEM can be displayed on your website using this module. The information provided within the National Offers module is managed by the Cox Automotive OEM Compliance Team.
Quick Links	Quick Links are placed within a web page to allow easy navigation to areas of interest on your website. These are usually placed within a Footer, but can be placed anywhere on the page.
Simple Search	Simple Search populates a search module on the page so your customers may search for a particular car. The filters available are Make, Model, Badge, Price, Year, and Vehicle Type. It is available in 2 different styles

Social Links	This module populates any Social Links that you have configured for your website; such as links to Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram. Click here for more information
Spacing	Used to create space or a heading between two modules on a page for easier reading. It is common to put a spacing module between most modules.
Top Stock	Top Stock Module can be used to display the top Models, Manufacturers, or Body Types within your inventory, and how many of these you have in stock. The "top" vehicles are those that you have more of in stock, compared to other vehicles in your inventory.
Valuation	The Valuation Module allows a customer to enter in details about their car so that they may receive a trade-in price estimate for their car.
Video	Video Module allows you to place a video within your web-page for your customers to view, by inserting a link to a video, (such as a Youtube link). You can control whether you would like to enable sound, autoplay, video controls or video replay.
