Websites | Adding a Drop-Down Menu

Introduction

A drop-down menu can be used on your website to categorise certain types of links, such as an Inventory drop-down menu might contain separate links for new, used, and demo cars:

Instructions

You can create drop-down menus of any kind on your website, and the instructions for this can be found below:

1. Hover your mouse over the Website Settings menu item, and select Menu Settings
   
   
   
2. Scroll down towards the bottom of the page, and select Add Menu Item
   
   
   
3. To create the drop-down menu group:
   1. Ensure a Menu Item Type of Dropdown is selected
   2. Add a Sub Menu Title - this will appear as the name of the drop-down menu on your website
   3. Click Select Link
      
      
      
4. Now:
   1. Ensure Page Link is selected
   2. Select the page you would like to add to the menu
   3. Add a Link Title - this is how the link to the page will appear in the menu
   4. Click Save
      
      
      
5. To add additional menu items under the drop-down menu group, simply click Add Link and follow step 4 again:
   
   
   
6. Once you've added all the desired pages to the drop-down menu, click Update to save the changes:
   
   
   
7. Your website menu is now updated with the new drop-down group:
   
   
   
8. Click and drag the numbered column on the left, if you'd like to adjust the order in which the menu item sits
