Introduction

Creating new pages for your Modular Website is quick and easy, using the Add from Template function. This allows you to duplicate another page that you have built, to save you time when creating a new page.

You might use this in the instance that you have two Service Centres you'd like to individually advertise on your website. Simply find a page that you would like to use as a base, and then build a new page from this template.

Instructions

Follow this guide to create a page from an existing page template. 

1. Hover your mouse over the Pages menu item, and select Add from Template

2. Browse to find the relevant page template. Note the modules included within each page template listed to their right. Click Use against the desired template.

3. Configure the page, modifying the following sections as suitable for the pages purpose:

1. Add an appropriate title for the template
2. Apply any header overrides as necessary (read more about how to customize page headers here)
3. Add and order any relevant modules (read more about how to add modules to a page here)
4. Apply any footer overrides as necessary (read more about how to customize page footers here)
5. Setup the page to contain inventory, if relevant (read more about setting up inventory pages here)
6. Click Publish once you've completed the configuration of the page

Your new page is now created! To view it and ensure you are happy with it, click the Permalink URL to view the page directly:
