Websites | Adding a Custom Banner – Cox Automotive

Introduction

By default, all pages that contain a banner will use an image from our Content Library. These images can be overridden, but must be uploaded at specific sizes; one for mobile, and one for desktop.

Please note: If you choose to override the currently applied banners with one of your own, then you will not receive automatic updates from our compliance team. This usually only applies to override national offers banners, though should be considered before choosing to override. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please contact our Customer Support Team.

Note: Banners can only be uploaded in the following dimensions:

Slim Banner

Desktop: 1920 x 460 pixels

Mobile: 414 x 311 pixels

The standard banner will not display on a mobile device, so we recommend using Slim banners.

Standard Banner

Desktop: 1920 x 695 pixels

Instructions

To add a custom banner, please follow the below instructions:

Navigate to the Pages menu item on the left hand side, and select All Pages:
Select the page you'd like to edit:
Click on the Banner module:
Scroll down and click the Override Slim Banner toggle, to enable this setting:
Select Add Image beside the Desktop Banner Image, and then browse for and upload the Desktop Banner Image:
Select Add Image beside the Mobile Banner Image, and browse for and upload the Mobile Banner Image
Click Save Changes

This new banner will be immediately visible on the selected page of the website.
