Introduction

You are able to use custom code and scripts to populate different information or plugins for your website. Lots of our customers use custom code or script to add things like live chat, customer written reviews, and tracking information to their website. 

Note: As per the 'IMPORTANT' message in the instructions below, Cox Automotive does not guarantee third party code inserted in this manner will work as intended. If you encounter issues with the functionality or display of the inserted product, please raise with the Customer Support Team for further assistance.

Instructions

To add code or script to a single page - for example, an iFrame, or third party service booking form, - follow this guide.

1. Browse to the relevant page, and then add a Custom Code module to where you would like the coded system to appear on the page - in this example, we wish to add the code above the existing Spacing module:

2. Select the Custom Code module:

3. Complete the following:

  1. Read the note and then check the IMPORTANT field
  2. Add the relevant code or script
  3. Add a Desktop Vertical Padding value (10px - 20px is recommended)
  4. Add a Mobile Vertical Padding value (5px - 10px is recommended

4. Click 'Save Changes' button to save the update:
