Auto360 | Creating Exterior 360º Images

Introduction

To create and link content to inventory, you would use the buttons in the vehicle details view. Open the vehicle details view by tapping the inventory from Content Management.

Instructions

Creating the Walkaround 360° Spin Image
1. In the vehicle details view, tap the 360° spin image button.

2. Tap the “Walkaround” button.
3. Tilt the phone to landscape and tap the record (round) button to initiate the 3-second walkaround countdown.
4. When the countdown is over, walk steadily around the vehicle in the direction of the arrow (right), while capturing the 360° spin image.
5. On returning to your starting position, tap the stop button to complete the exterior walk around 360° spin image.
6. You may preview the exterior 360° and retake it or accept it by tapping “Done”.
7. After creating the walkaround 360° spin image, you may then create its hotspots or return to the vehicle details page by tapping “Next”.

Creating the Turntable 360° Spin
1. Load the vehicle onto the dealership’s turntable and using a stopwatch, measure the
time taken for a complete rotation of the vehicle. This is your test rotation.
2. In the vehicle details view, tap the 360° spin button.

3. In the 360° image view, tap the Turntable button, then enter the duration of the test spin
in “Time Settings”.
4. Mount the phone on a tripod (or hold it steadily in both hands) and simultaneously, start the turntable platform while pressing the record button in the app.
5. The 360° spin image is completed when the timer duration is completed.
6. You should now review them 360° spin image and retake it, or accept it by tapping
“Done”.
7. After creating the turntable 360° spin image, you may then create its hotspots (see:
Creating Hotspots for 360˚ Spin Images), or return to the vehicle details page by tapping
“Next”.
