Auto360 | Creating Hotspots for 360º Spin Images

Introductions

Once you have created the 360˚ spins, you can immediately create the hotspots too. Hotspots are feature points of the vehicle you can highlight to your customers on the 360º spin images.

Instructions

1. In the 360˚ image view, tap “More” on the 360˚ spin.
2. Tap “Hotspots”.
3. Pan the spin so that the feature or damage you wish to highlight is in direct view, then
tap “Add Hotspots”.
4. Tap the location of this feature or damage hotspot.
5. For the interior 360˚ spin, a single tap the hotspot is enough. For exterior 360˚ spins, tap continuously until the hotspot location rotates out for view for the clockwise rotation. Then tap “Item has gone”.
6. For exterior 360˚ spins, repeatedly tap the hotspot until it is out for view for the counter- clockwise rotation.
7. Now that the hotspot position has been confirmed, you would need to add some type of media to the hotspot.
8. You may create or add a video, image, or text as your hotspot media.
9. Remember to specify what type of hotspot this is, that is: Feature, Light damage, or Heavy damage.
10. After creating all the hotspots, confirm the hotspots by tapping “Done”.
11. Return to the vehicle details page to create new content, or to upload the content you just created.
