Introduction

In Messaging, you would send content from the app to the customer my means of links generated in the App. These links can be pasted in a variety of options installed on your phone such as email, SMS, Slack, WhatsApp etc.

When the customer opens the link you’ve sent, it will contain the personalised message you created, along with content such as 360˚ spin images, videos and the inventory details.

Instructions

Before creating a message, keep in mind that you would need to include any one or a combination of the inventory, a 360° spin image, or a video.

Creating a message from the Messaging menu
1. Tap “Menu” then tap “Messaging”.
2. In the message list view, tap the “+ New Message” to start the message composer.
3. In the message composer, tap the user icon to select your profile from the list of sales executives.
4. If displayed, tap the “Themes” icon to select a theme for the message. Selecting a theme chooses a branded template for the message.
5. Update the text in the text message box. You may use the message from the theme or edit it with your custom message.
6. Select a vehicle from your inventory by tapping the vehicle icon.
7. If the selected vehicle has content already linked to it, these linked content are copied into your message.
8. If you wish to replace the video or 360° image in your direct message, tap the icon for this content and create or select the replacement video or 360° image.
9. Preview your message by tapping the preview icon.
10. To share the message, tap the “Share” button.
11. All messages created are added to the message list. You may reuse an existing message by tapping “Share” in the message list.
12. You may also edit a previously created message by tapping the message from the message list and editing it.

Creating a message by sharing inventory
1. To create a message directly from the inventory, select the inventory in Content Management.
2. Tap the “Share” icon. This takes you to the message composer view with the inventory and its content already selected.
3. Tap the user icon to select your profile from the list of sales executives.
4. If desired, update the text in the text message box.
5. Preview the message by tapping the preview icon.
6. The message is now ready for sharing.
