Introduction
The Vehicle tab in Finance is where you need to enter in the vehicle information that your customer is doing the finance application for. Again, if the DMS feed already had all of the vehicle details on it, whatever fields were filled out there will pre-populate onto this page so you don't have to double enter the vehicle.
Instructions
The first option you will see for the vehicle is the Make, Model, Year and Variant finder. Above these it allows you to use the Redbook, Glasses (default) or Manual Entry options to find the vehicle. Even if your dealership doesn't use guide codes, our software uses Glasses to identify vehicle types to assist with the population of details so you aren't forced to manually enter every vehicle's details.
Here are the remaining options for the vehicle to be populated:
Transmission: Use the drop-down to select either Manual or Automatic transmission
Kilometres: How many kilometres are showing on the vehicles odometer
Stock #: What is your dealerships stock number identifier
Rego #: What is the registration number of the vehicle (if known at the time of application)
Registration State: What state of Australia is the vehicle being registered in
Vehicle Condition: Use the drop-down to select whether the vehicle being purchased is a New, Demo or Used vehicle
VIN: What is the Vehicle Identification Number of the vehicle being financed (if known at the time of application)
Engine Number: What is the Engine Number of the vehicle being financed (if known at the time of application)
Price Details
In this section you will see the vehicles pricing details including Trade In values, Trade In payouts (refurbishing costs etc.) Deposit value outside of Trade In and Refund Amounts.
The key figure here to take stock of is the Balance Payable value, as this is the amount you are financing for the customer.
