Introduction
Working with Presidian, we are now able to pre-populate your Presidian Warranty and Roadside Assist applications with DMS fed data such as Name, DOB, Address and Vehicle information.
This allows you to process your applications faster than ever before without ever leaving the Finance tool!
Instructions
Firstly, select the appropriate Deal Card from the menu. Deal Card’s populate in the Finance tool direct from your DMS, from Finance Score enquiries and CarSales. You can easily identify where the Deal Card has populated from by the logo at the top of the card.
If the Presidian Integration has been enabled for your dealership and once you have opened the Deal Card for your customer, on the left-hand side menu you will see an available option for Presidian. Click on Presidian to begin processing the application through the integrated tool.
Click Send data to Presidian to begin the application. You will see a window come up asking you to confirm sending data to Presidian which you will need to click again to continue.
The first screen you will see after confirming to send data to Presidian is the Vantage Login page. Simply enter your Login Name and Password for Vantage and click the Login button to continue with the application.
Once opened, please ensure the correct Dealership is selected in Vantage, as this is not validated between Vantage and the Finance product. The first screen in Vantage you will see is the Contract Entry page. Here the first step as it is in Vantage is to enter the products that the customer is interested in. Once you have selected the relevant Warranty and/or Roadside Assist products, click the Next button to continue.
The Customer Details section is where you will see another great advantage to the Presidian integration. The details from your DMS such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile number, Address and Email address details will already be populated in the application. This is of course dependent on those details being present in the Deal Card prior to launching the Presidian integration, whether it is from your DMS, Finance Score or from a CarSales lead.
As the final part of the integration, you will see the Vehicle Details populate directly from the Deal Card, with the NVIC, Make, Model, Year, Vehicle Description, Rego, VIN, Stock Number, Odometer, Vehicle Purchase Price, Date of Delivery, Transmission Type, Fuel Type, Number of Cylinders, Body Type and Colour already loaded (if this data is populated on the Deal Card prior to initiating the Presidian integration). At this point, you would simply continue to fill out the application as per any Presidian application.
Once you filled out the Pricing tab and clicked Submit, you will see a message populate ensuring that you have provided your customer with the Warranty terms and conditions, and you have gotten agreement from your customer for the application. Once you have obtained this, click the Customer Agreed button to finalise the application submission.
Lastly, you will see a Confirmation window appear where you can Print Documents, View Documents, Activate the Warranty, head back to the Home Page or get the Warranty Details. Any selected product details will be returned to the Finance platform and saved against the deal, including any policy documents. At this stage, you need to click 'Activate Warranty' to ensure the warranty activates. If this step is skipped, a member of Presidian will contact you to request you activate the warranty.
With the application now submitted for your customer, the Finance product receives the information back from Presidian in two separate areas. The first is the Documents tab at the bottom of the left-hand side menu, where on the Supporting Documents tab, you will find the Policy Document.
The second is in the Application section where on the Products tab, the Warranty and Roadside products chosen by your customer will automatically populate.
Once the Warranty/Roadside is created in Vantage through the Finance product, you can return to Vantage to view, activate or edit the pending application. Click on Presidian on the left-hand side menu and once you have logged back into Vantage, it automatically opens that deal. On the Warranty Info tab, you will see action buttons for Activate Warranty, Edit or Delete buttons depending on what you are requiring.
Activate Warranty: This will finalise the deal and Presidian will send a Welcome Communication to the customer 2 days after activation.
Edit: You can edit details on the Warranty/Roadside until the Welcome Communication has been sent. Any updates to the warranty/roadside will be sent back to the Finance product along with updated paperwork.
Delete: If the Warranty/Roadside does not go ahead, select ‘Delete’ and we will remove this from the Deal in Finance and cancel the Warranty/Roadside in Vantage. Once deleted you can create a new Warranty/Roadside record. Note: this option is not available once activated.
