Introduction
Working with Taurus, we are now able to pre-populate your Taurus finance applications with DMS fed data such as Name, DOB, Drivers Licence, Address and Vehicle information.
Also, once you click the Check for Updates button you will be able to click on the deal and scroll to the Finance Details section. Here you will see the Finance details that have been retrieved from Taurus such as the Term, Frequency, Rate and Balloon.
This allows you to process your applications faster and get the relevant information about your applications easily!
Instructions
Firstly, select the appropriate Deal Card from the menu. Deal Card’s populate in the Finance tool direct from your DMS, from Finance Score enquiries and CarSales. You can easily identify where the Deal Card has populated from by the logo at the top of the card.
Once you have opened the Deal Card for your customer, on the left-hand side menu you will see an available option for Taurus. Click on Taurus to begin processing the application through the integrated tool. Once the Taurus system populates within the Finance platform, click 'Submit to Taurus' to begin the application. You will see a window come up asking you to click 'Submit to Taurus' again which you will need to click to continue.
The first screen to appear is the Personalised Repayment page that covers the Consent & Identification process. Select the appropriate answers for your deal and ensure that you tick the checkboxes before you click 'Proceed'.
As you have already collected the details for your customer in your DMS, through the Finance Score or from the CarSales lead, all your customers information should pre-populate in the application for you. Be sure to double check the information before progressing. Once you are certain of the details, select the Direct Debit Frequency from either Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly and click 'Calculate' to continue.
After pressing Calculate you will see that the Amount and Direct Debit options will disappear and be replaced with the Repayment Options. Simply click your customers desired repayment option by clicking the 'Preferred Option' button to continue.
As the final part of the integration, you will see the Vehicle Details populate directly from the Deal Card, with the Model and Sale Price already loaded. You will need to enter any On-road costs at this point, as well as select the options for Accessories included, Vehicle Type (New, Demo or Used), Factory-fitted options and Used for ride-sharing or taxi before pressing 'Save & Next'.
At this point, you would simply continue to fill out the application as per any Taurus Finance application.
Once you click Save & Next or once you have finished filling out the rest of the application for your customer, you can click the 'CHECK FOR UPDATES' button under the Actions menu in order to send the application details to Taurus. You can also upload or retrieve any documents from the 'Documents' option on the left-hand side menu as well.
If at any time you must amend the details of your application, you can make the necessary changes and click 'UPDATE TAURUS' from this menu as well.
Once you have sent the application details to Taurus, you can come into the Finance Log at any time during or after the application is submitted to review the Finance details sent to us directly from Taurus. Items such as the rate, frequency, balloon and more are available from this section.
