Introduction
The Finance Log is where you can see the complete entry history of your deals, as well as a helpful dashboard up the top that gives you an Overview, Compliance and Sales history for the current month (or however you wish to view it through the Filter options).
If you double click on any of the entries in the grid, an Overview of the deal will come up on the right-hand side, giving you an editable vertical view of the deal.
Instructions
Accessing the Finance Log
To access the Finance Log at any stage either from the Home Screen or during an application, simply click on the book icon in the top-left corner to open the Finance Log.
Log Action Buttons (Far left-hand side)
On the left-hand side of the Finance Log, you will see:
Top
- Back Arrow button - This allows you to return to the Home Screen to continue using the Finance platform
- Add Customer button - This will allow you to create an entirely new Customer entry from the Finance Log, whereas normally you would do this from the Home screen if an entry has not been made already through your DMS
- Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons - This will allow you to increase or decrease the size of the Finance Log to a size you are comfortable with
- Download button - This will download the entire contents of the Finance Log to an XLSX file (Excel Spreadsheet file type), should you wish to use this format of reviewing the log.
Bottom
- Profile button - This button when clicked presents you with options for About, Contact Support or Report a Problem. You can also click Log Off to log out of Finance if you are finished using the product
- Settings button - When clicking the Settings button, it will open a new page where you can adjust the settings for the Finance Log (see below)
Finance Dashboard
The Finance Dashboard will show you a collection of information such as Total Sales, Finance Contracts, Insurance Income and others.
The default timeframe the Dashboard shows information for is the current calendar month, however this can be adjusted in the Filter options (see below).
The Filter buttons in the top-left hand corner defaults are the name of the Business Manager, ALL and This Month. You can easily change the date range by clicking the dropdown next to This Month and selecting a new range.
Once you click either the Name or ALL, you can adjust the Finance Log Grid to show data for different or multiple Business Managers, or change the Deal States, Filter By, Payment Type, Finance State, Deal Type and Usage fields to view the grid based on your selections.
You can also select from the pre-selected Filter options up the top which are:
- All Active Deals - Sold and Delivered vehicles
- Covered
- Sold
- Settled
- Delivered
- Custom
- This Month
Once you update any of these selections and click 'Apply', the Finance Log will update to show all the relevant applications based on those filters.
Finance Log Grid
Depending on how you have your Filters set, the Log Grid shows the details of the deals that you are yet to process, are processing or have processed.
You can scroll horizontally to view all the information, or you can double click to bring up a vertical overview of each deal.
