Introduction
The Offer Deductions allow you to deduct from the Starting Value of the vehicle offer made to your customer. Against each of the categories, you will see a Description of the deduction, the Quality/Condition of that category and the Action that the Connect tool will take if that category is entered by the customer.
Instructions
The three Actions that you can choose are:
Instant Offer - Any vehicles that meet this condition will accept the offer unless the vehicle meets other criteria such as ‘Price Range’ or 'Reject'
Price Range - If the vehicle meets this condition then your customer should only receive a Price Range once they enter their vehicle details
Reject - If the vehicle meets this condition then your customers offer will be rejected, however they will be informed to contact the dealership for an inspection
Should you choose Instant Offer, you will see options appear for Unit and Deduction. Unit allows you to choose whether the deduction will be a price or percentage deduction from the overall offer, and Deduction is the value (either percentage or price value) that you wish to deduct against that category.
Lastly, In the first column of Offer Deductions, you can see a toggle that you can click on or off, depending on whether you wish this category to be included as part of the Instant Offer rule.
Should you turn off a category, the website modal will be automatically updated to not show that question to your customers when they are filling out their vehicle details.
