As a LeadDriver user you have the ability to create Tasks for a lead. For instance, you are able to create a task to send an SMS that ensures that upcoming activities are well-planned and organised.
Creating Tasks
Step 1
Search and open the lead you wish to add a task for. Click on "Tasks and Appointments" and then "Add New Task"
Step 2
Now, you will see six task types, choose the one you wish to proceed with.
Step 3
Once you have selected yout task type, add the name of the appointment and any notes you with to add. Select "Select Date and Time"
Step 4
Now you can choose your date, the user who should be fulfilling the task and the start and end time. Once done, select "Create Task"
Step 5
You will now be redirected to the Appointments and Tasks Tab with the new task created.
Managing Tasks
Tasks created can have multiple actions on them.
- Tasks upcoming in the future will have a task status of "Upcoming"
- Tasks overdue will have a task status of "Overdue"
- A lead with no Tasks will show as "No upcoming Appointments or Tasks"

For existing tasks, users are able to mark said task as either done by marking as "done".
Editing Tasks
Step 1
Find your desired lead and click on "Edit" from the task card.
Step 2
Edit the necessary information. E.g Task name, type and notes.
You will also be able to edit the date and time of the task and who the tak is assigned to.
Click "Save Changes" once you have made your changes.
You will also have the option to cancel the task if desired.
