Changes in Push to DMS for Carsales and Bikesales
In response to a Carsales request regarding data privacy and compliance, please be aware that leads from Carsales will only be pushed to your Dealer Management System (DMS) after that lead has been marked as 'Sold'. This change applies to Automatic and Manual DMS configurations and will be effective from 3rd May, 2024.
1. Manual Push to DMS: For DMS Integrations set up manually, if the LeadSource is Carsales or Bikesales, the 'Push to DMS' button in Log Activity will only appear once the lead has been marked as sold. This means that you'll need to mark the lead as sold before clicking 'Push to DMS' to send the details to your DMS. If you don't click 'Push to DMS' after marking the lead as sold, none of the details will be pushed to your DMS.
2. Automatic Push to DMS: If the LeadSource is Carsales or Bikesales and you have an automatic DMS configuration, lead details will only be automatically sent to the DMS once the lead has been marked as sold.
